2007 Perlinski Award Recipient to Speak and Offer Four Continuing Education Credits at AMTA Convention

ATLANTA, GA – September 7, 2010 – Respected health science educator Laurie Craig, co-founder of Georgia Massage School in Altanta, will be presenting during the education sessions at the American Massage Therapy Association’s National Convention on September 25, 2010, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The AMTA Convention is an annual event providing therapists with networking opportunities in massage, continuing education, and professional advancement services.

As an element of “The Art and Craft of Teaching”, Laurie will present “Capturing and Maintaining Student Attention” on Saturday morning, September 25th. This presentation is a part of the Perlinski Award Recipients Teachers Track. Educators will have the chance to learn about effective and ineffective pedagogical methods, and understand how to engage students for a total learning experience in the massage therapy classroom.
