At Georgia Massage School in Atlanta, we help you learn massage therapy techniques, history, and business applications through our unique style of instruction. In our 500-hour massage therapy training program, you’ll work with Laurie Craig, a two time nationally recognized massage educator, and Rick Garbowski, a highly experienced massage therapist with a variety of advanced certifications, to learn the skills you need to start your career in massage therapy.
Our Atlanta massage therapy training program is broken up into four sections: an introductory, lower extremity, upper extremity, and axial skeleton course. To effectively learn massage therapy, training techniques include hands-on sessions, lectures about ethics and history, lessons in medical terminology, and comprehensive anatomy and physiology instruction.
Students receive a well-rounded education, and Georgia Massage School prepares each of our future massage therapists to enter the workforce with a solid foundation in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hydrotherapy applications, ethics and health considerations, and the ability to work with special populations in spas and medical practices in Atlanta and beyond.
Laurie Craig and Rick Garbowski ensure that students thoroughly learn massage therapy techniques during the 500-hour program, and graduate with an advanced comprehension of anatomy and physiology as well as strong assessment skills allowing them to work with all types of clients. And with small class sizes, students receive highly focused massage training techniques with more individual attention.
